Rolling Start for the SPRINT & 5i50.  Athletes will self-seed according to their estimated swim time.

SPRINT: under 15 mins; 15-18 mins; 19-22 mins; 23-26 mins; over 27 mins.  CUTOFF: 30 mins

5i50: under 20 mins; 20-23 mins; 24-27 mins; 28-31 mins; 32-35 mins; over 36 mins. CUTOFF: 1 hour 10 min

The swim start is from the Beach and Tennis Club at Lac Tremblant.  Allow a 10-minute walk to reach the start at the Beach and Tennis Club from the Transition Area.

Wearing the swim cap provided is mandatory.
Wearing thermal suit (wet suit) will be allowed if the temperature of the water is below 22 degrees Celsius.

The swim course (750 m YELLOW course and 1.5 km ORANGE course) will be modified accordingly: buoys are kept to the right at all times.

No Passing Zone (Chemin Duplessis)

Departure takes place in the IRONMAN Village transition area at the base of the pedestrian village.

The SPRINT distance is 1-loop while the 5i50 is a 2-loop course.

Helmet approved bicycle (CSIA / ANSI) is mandatory.
Wearing the “singlet” or t-shirt is mandatory for all participants.
Ridging (drafting) is prohibited.
Participants must keep to the right at all times.
All participants are responsible to know the course.
All athletes need to have their body marked prior to the race.

You will have the unique experience of crossing the same finish line as the IRONMAN 70.3 & IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant athletes!

Participants must keep left of the BLUE line at all times.
All participants are responsible to know the course.
Wearing the “singlet” or t-shirt is mandatory for all participants.
The bib must be worn in front and it must be legible at all times.
All athletes need to have their body marked prior to the race.

GENERAL INFORMATION

No outside assistance is permitted during the event.

Participants must follow the marked event courses dedicated to swim, bike and run.

Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification of the participant(s).

General regulations of Triathlon Québec applies.
Any violations of these rules may result in disqualification by Triathlon Québec officials or the event’s Race Director.

 RELAY TEAM

The swimmer will have to wear the colored swim cap, the cyclist will have to put the bike & helmet sticker, the runner will have to wear the bib and all team members need to be body marked prior to the race.

Relay teams will be nestled in a designated area entering the transition zone. The exchange has to be done inside this zone. The swimmer must return the chip to the cyclist, who will then transfer it to the runner in the same area.

TRANSITION AREA

All participants must wear their wristband, and submit their participant bib number to access the transition area.
ONLY registered athletes are allowed in the transition area (NO Family, Friends, Coach, etc.).

BIKE: Before lifting their bike from the bike rack, participants must have their bike helmets secured and attached. The helmet must remain attached at all times.
