WHERE IS THE RACE LOCATED?
The race is taking place in Mont-Tremblant, at the Tremblant ski resort located in the Laurentians.

WHAT WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE RACE KIT?
Each participant will receive a t-shirt, a race kit (including a bib number, bike stickers, swim cap, wristband, last minute info) and a gift bag.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE COURSE MAPS?
Course maps are available in the athlete section of the website.
WHERE & WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY RACE KIT?
2017 race kit pick up will be announced closer to the event.
NO REGISTRATION OR RACE KIT PICK UP ON RACE DAY
CAN MY COACH OR FAMILY MEMBER HELP ME SET UP MY BIKE IN THE TRANSITION AREA?
No. Only registered athletes with wristbands will be allowed in the transition area.
WHAT IS THE EXPECTED WATER TEMPERATURE ON RACE DAY?
The average water temperature on race day will be 65 F/ 18 C.
WHAT ARE THE WETSUIT RESTRICTIONS?
Wetsuits cannot measure more than 5 mm thick.
Wetsuits are permitted if the water temperature is up to (and including) 76.1 degrees Fahrenheit (24.5 degrees Celsius) or colder.
Wetsuits will be prohibited in water temperatures greater than 83.8 degrees Fahrenheit (28.8 degrees Celsius).
Athletes who choose to wear a wetsuit in water temperatures between 76.1 degrees Fahrenheit (24.5 degrees Celsius) and 83.8 degrees Fahrenheit (28.8 degrees Celsius) will not be eligible for awards.
Full wetsuits are permitted (arms and legs covered).
The De Soto Water Rover and the Speedo Elite Triathlon Wetsuit with forearm flaps wetsuits are PROHIBITED.
Athletes should contact the wetsuit manufacturer directly to confirm whether their suit is legal.
Race Officials will be monitoring athletes on race morning to enforce wetsuit restrictions.
WILL THERE BE A MEDICAL TEAM ONSITE?
Yes, a team of health volunteer professionals will be on site to assist participants in need of medical assistance.
WILL THERE BE RELAY TEAMS?
Yes. A relay division will be offered for SPRINT & 5i50 distances.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE?
The minimum age is 16 years old and is based on the age as of December 31 of the year of the event. Meaning that if an athlete is 15 yrs old on the day of the event, for example June 25, but his birthday is November 11, he is considered to be 16 yrs old. This rule applies for the SPRINT & 5i50 only.
HOW ARE THE AGE GROUP DETERMINED?
Age Groups are determined by the age on December 31st of the year of the event.
WHERE WILL LOST & FOUND BE LOCATED DURING THE EVENT?
During race week, Lost & Found items will be available at the Tremblant Guest Services Desk located in Chalet des Voyageurs. It is recommended that you mark your gear with your bib number as IRONMAN is not responsible for lost items.
After the conclusion of the event, please contact the Tremblant Guest Services Desk to locate any missing items and schedule returns. Shipping fees will apply. Call 819-681-3000 ext 46817 for information on retrieving your items.
